Description:
Established in 2024, the Global Scholarships at the University of Otago | Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka are designed to support international students from nominated countries and those enrolling in specific programs. The scholarship provides financial assistance to students pursuing undergraduate degrees.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Have completed secondary (high) school or studied at another approved institution granting university entrance, either overseas or within New Zealand.
- Be intending to enroll or already enrolled in full-time, degree-level undergraduate study at the University of Otago | Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka.
- Plan to study at the University of Otago | Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka from 100-level (first-year) to degree completion.
- Be applying either:
- From a nominated country, or
- For a specified program of study at the University of Otago.
- Commit to studying on campus for the entire duration of their program.
