Description:
The “Stay in Canada” Study Scholarship is designed to enhance opportunities for international students already studying in Canada. This scholarship aims to support students who have completed high school in Canada and hold a valid student study permit.
The scholarship encourages students to pursue higher education at The King’s University College at Western University while continuing their academic journey in Canada.
Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for the scholarship in the first year, students must:
✅ Meet all conditions outlined in their offer of admission.
✅ Enroll in an undergraduate program at King’s and remain registered as a full-time student (minimum 3.5 courses during the Fall/Winter academic year: September–April).
✅ Maintain international student status by paying international student tuition and fees.
❌ If a student enrolls with a reduced course load (less than 3.5 courses), they will no longer be eligible for the scholarship.
❌ This scholarship cannot be deferred to a later academic year.
The residence guarantee is not conditional on meeting the scholarship renewal requirements.
