This scholarship category awards eligible students 25% off their first year of tuition. Curtin University recognizes the significance of this group in growing the University and this scholarship aim at fostering trust and confidence in Curtin University as a place for students to further their studies, careers, and life experiences.
Why study at Curtin University?
Curtin University, formerly known as the Curtin University of Technology and Western Australian Institute of Technology (WAIT), is an Australian public research university based in Bentley, Perth, Western Australia. It is named after John Curtin, Prime Minister of Australia from 1941 to 1945, and is the largest university in Western Australia, with 59,939 students in 2021. The university comprises five main faculties with over 95 specialist centers. It had a campus in Sydney from 2005 to 2016. Curtin University is a member of the Australian Technology Network. Curtin University is active in research in a range of academic and practical fields. Curtin is the only Western Australian university whose students have won the Australian Institute of Nuclear Science and Engineering’s Postgraduate Student Gold Medal as of 2020.

Eligibility for the Global Curtin Scholarships – Alumni and Family Scholarship:
- Applicants must be International Students
- Applicants commencing studies at Curtin’s Western Australia in 2023
- Applicants commencing a full Curtin undergraduate or master by coursework program (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery excluded)
- Applicants who themselves or their siblings/parents/children are Curtin Alumni (must have completed a whole qualification) OR;
their sibling, parent, or child have a current enrolment in an academic program at Curtin’s Western Australia campuses.
