The 2023 Stanford University Knight-Hennessy Scholars Fellowship

The 2023 Knight-Hennessy Scholars Fellowship is a highly selective and prestigious program for graduate studies at the notable Stanford University. The program is organized to equip the next generation of global leaders by offering them with a transformative educational experience, leadership training, and opportunities for individual development.

The program presents a full funding package that covers tuition, fees, room, and board, and grants a living stipend for Scholars. It assists graduate studies in any of Stanford’s seven schools, including Business, Education, Engineering, Humanities and Sciences, Law, Medicine, and Earth, Energy, and Environmental Sciences. The program is open to applicants from all academic specializations and backgrounds.

Knight-Hennessy Scholars acquire leadership training through workshops, seminars, and mentorship programs. The program also presents a wide range of opportunities for individual development, such as global study trips, civic engagement projects, and community service initiatives. Scholars are anticipated to be leaders in their respective fields and to make a positive and very vital impact on society through their work.

Knight-Hennessy Scholars (KHS) supplies funding for the degree program listed in the initial KHS admission letter. Scholars who desire to enroll in an additional graduate program may apply to KHS to acquire extra funding up to a maximum of 3 years. This extra funding is not assured. If a scholar is admitted to a degree program that surpasses three years – such as an MD, PhD, or Stanford dual- or joint-degree program, then financing is based on the graduate degree program’s standard funding commitment. This differs by department and school, as indicated in the chart below. Please contact the graduate program with specific questions about their funding commitment.
