ArcelorMittal South Africa is part of the steel company ArcelorMittal. The company was originally Iscor Ltd., a South African parastatal steel company. It was established in 1928 and was first listed on the JSE Securities Exchange in 1989.
ArcelorMittal South Africa is the largest steel producer on the African continent, with a production capacity of 5 million tonnes of liquid steel per annum. Including flat and long steel is produced in hundreds of grades and specifications. Steel is as important as ever to the future success of our world. As one of the only materials to be entirely reusable and recyclable, it will play a vital role in building the circular economy of the future. Steel will continue to evolve, becoming smarter, and increasingly sustainable. At ArcelorMittal, the goal is to help build a better world with smarter steels.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
Requirements:
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Planning to enrol full-time at a South African University for 2024
- For current grade 12 students – English, Mathematics and Physics
- Students currently at universities – must have passed all the courses for which you have registered for at the university for the study period already completed
