This scholarship program is planned to offer financial support to students of Ikereku, Abeokuta, Nigeria, who are furthering their education at accredited Nigerian universities or polytechnics. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
For the 2024/25 academic session, the award invites applications from students enrolled in accredited programmes at Nigerian universities and polytechnics. Eligibility extends to:
- Students of public universities and polytechnics from the Egba Oke-Ona, Abeokuta communities, including Ago-Oko, Iberekodo, Idomopa, Ikereku, Ikija, Ilawo, Ijaye Kukudi, Ilugun, and Imala.
- Applicants must be enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate studies, demonstrating the award’s versatility in supporting a broad range of academic pursuits.
- A recommendation letter from a notable community figure, such as a mosque or church leader, underscoring the applicant’s community engagement and character.
- A demonstrated financial need, ensuring that the award reaches those who need it most.
MERITS
- Partial coverage of tuition fees, making sure that recipients can concentrate more on their studies and less on the financial strain of education.
- Aiding in essential academic-related expenses, including textbooks and living allowances, to ensure a well-rounded educational experience.
- The award assures a minimum support amount of N100,000.00, reflecting the program’s commitment to making a significant impact on the recipients’ educational journey.
