Nevertheless, the Transforming Nigerian Youths Program is initiated into Nigeria by the Young Africa Works-Mastercard Foundation in partnership with the Enterprise Development Centre, Pan-Atlantic University to offer Nigerian youths who are into the agriculture and creative sector the assistance they need to begin, maximize and escalate their businesses. Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) is joining forces with the Foundation to build the capacity of 40,000 MSMEs with special focus on agriculture and creative sectors especially women-led businesses in Nigeria. The training will be drop-shipped via EDC’s online learning platform and Interactive Voice Response to allow all learners to have a say or take a part in the lesson where ever they are located. Qualified Nigerians who are entrepreneurs or are aspiring to own a business, need to register for this FREE Entrepreneurship training by Enterprise Development Centre in partnership with MasterCard Foundation-Young Africa Works with the following main three objectives below:
- To completely transform the mindset of youths in Nigeria to become more entrepreneurial, and to equip them to be self-employed or job creators.
- To create market access and provide support services to existing business owners especially those being run by young people.
- Change the way learning or information is received in Nigeria through EDC Beam.
QUALIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THE TRANSFORMING NIGERIAN YOUTHS PROGRAM FOR NIGERIANS:
- Applicants must be a young Nigerian entrepreneur.
- Applicants should be in the agricultural or creative sector in Nigeria.
- Applicants must be between the ages of 18 to 35 years of age.
- Applicants must be resident in any of the 36 States of Nigeria.
