The 2023 DevCareer Tech Programme for Nigerian Students
In accordance with the generic goal of DevCareer which is to support underrepresented tech talents joining the industry by producing resources, and scholarships in partnership with learning platforms, fostering an inclusive community, and exploring innovative approaches. The DevCareer Tech Programme is a scholarship and mentorship initiative aimed at assisting Nigerian students in obtaining relevant technical skills and advancing their careers in the technology industry. It offers training, mentorship, and practical experience to participants to improve their employability and encourage them to contribute effectively to the tech ecosystem.
The DevCareer tech program is a 6-month program in Nigeria, catering to individuals seeking growth in their software development careers. Participants will receive training in Software Development, Product Management, and Product Design. Mentors will provide guidance and support throughout the program. - Open to young people from all communities in Nigeria, regardless of gender or educational background.
MERITS
The program offers virtual live classes, peer learning sessions, training workshops, and visual learning content through a Learning Management System. It underlines both curricular and extracurricular activities, including hands-on project-based learning and regular assessments to estimate participants’ progress.
