The Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI) is a prestigious multidisciplinary post-graduate academic institute launched in 2005, under the initiative of Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana. The objective of CGI is to use the most recent interactive teaching techniques used in leading educational and research institutions to build effective thinkers and leaders to better serve their countries’ needs towards sustainable development. The CGI is now offering programs leading to a Master’s degree in Applied Biological Sciences: Environmental Health, Environmental Toxicology, and Chemical Sciences.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR THE 2024 CHULABORN GRADUATE INSTITUTE MASTERS SCHOLARSHIP

Scholarships are obtainable to qualified applicants who meet the following qualifications:

  1. Under 30 years of age
  2. Hold a Bachelor’s Degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 in one of the following fields:
  • Sciences: Chemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Environmental Sciences
  • Medical Sciences: Medicine, Medical Technology
  • Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences

Applicants from other related fields are also invited to apply with the below qualifications:

  1. Have experience in scientific laboratory research
  2. Must have demonstrated English proficiency, preferably on one of two recognized tests of language proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS)
  3. Must provide a statement of purpose explaining their interests in the study

Value of Award: The scholarship will cover

  1. Tuition and other academic fees (credit fee, laboratory expenses, refresher course, enrolment fee, thesis fee, production of thesis documents),
  2. Round trip airfare
  3. Visa fee
  4. First settlement allowance
  5. Relocation allowance
  6. Accommodation
  7. Monthly stipend
  8. Book allowance
  9. Health insurance and others.

Award Duration: The scholarship award will cover 6 weeks of refresher courses followed by a period of 2 years of Master’s Degree study, subject to an annual review of the scholar’s satisfactory progress.
