ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR THE 2023 ORAL HISTORY COMPETITION
- Open to afro-optimists aged over 18 years old.
- Entries should be between 60 and 90 seconds long, and tell a unique story.
- Entries can be in your language (a transcript in English or French) will have to be provided).
- Entries have to follow the Submission Guidelines.
MERITS
- You would gain the opportunity to share your story with a community of like-minded individuals who share your passion for preserving and celebrating the rich history of Africa.
JUDGING CRITERIA
- Entries will be reviewed by our judges, each representing a region of the continent.
SCHEDULE
- 25 May 2023: Competition opens
- 31 August 2023: Competition closes
- 29 September 2023: Winners announced
PROCEDURES FOR APPLICATION
- Step 1: Create a video of yourself telling a unique story or fact related to the African continent using the Submission Guidelines.
