The 2023 UBA Graduate Management Accelerated Programme for Young Professionals

The UBA Graduate Management Accelerated Programme (GMAP) is a development program created for young professionals who desire to be future pioneers in the banking industry. The program is presented by the United Bank for Africa (UBA), one of Africa’s leading financial institutions, and offers participants an intensive and comprehensive learning experience. The 2023 UBA Graduate Management Accelerated Programme for Young Professionals

GMAP is a 12-month program that concentrates on advancing young professionals’ skills in leadership, management, and banking operations. The program offers a combination of classroom training, job rotations, and mentorship opportunities that allow participants to gain hands-on experience in different areas of banking operations.

Participants in the UBA GMAP program are designated to different departments within the bank, such as retail banking, corporate banking, and treasury operations, and are given detailed projects to work on under the direction of experienced mentors. Participants will as well attend training sessions and workshops on topics such as financial analysis, risk management, and customer service.

Requirements for the 2023 UBA Graduate Management Accelerated Programme:

• 2 years of work experience
• Bachelor’s Degree (2nd Class Lower) from a University
• Proof of completion of NYSC or exemption certificate
• Candidates must not be more than 27 years old by October 2023
