The 2024 Atlas Corps Professional Development Fellowship in US
The Atlas Corps 2024 Professional Development Fellowship in US Public Policy is an intensive, twelve–month fellowship for emerging leaders from around the world. This fellowship is organized for professionals who have displayed leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to public service. Fellows will have direct access to policymakers, academics, and practitioners in the US public policy field, and will be supported in their professional and personal growth.
Atlas Corps invites social change leaders worldwide to apply for our 12-18 month Blended Fellowships and 12-month Remote Fellowships commencing in 2024.
Atlas Corps aims for candidates who have at least two years of professional experience in one of our five main skill areas: 1) Communications and Marketing, 2) Monitoring and Evaluation / Data Analysis, 3) Operations & Human Resources, 4) Partnership-Building and Business Development, or 5) Program and Project Management. Most of our placement opportunities with Host Organizations over the past few years have been in these skill areas, and our selection process will focus on candidates with the greatest chance of matching with a Host Organization role. Candidates with at least two years of experience in one of these skill areas should apply by July 30, 2023, to receive priority consideration for Fellowships beginning in 2024.
Eligibility Conditions for the 2024 Atlas Corps Professional Development Fellowship
Applicants must possess;
- Two or more years of full-time professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- English proficiency (oral, writing, reading)
- Age 35 or younger
- Commitment to addressing critical social issues in your country or region.
Further conditions for the Fellowship:
- Two or more years of professional experience should be within at least one of our five main skill areas:
- Communications and Marketing
- Monitoring and Evaluation/Data Analysis
- Operations & Human Resources
- Partnership-Building and Business Development, or
- Program and Project Management
- Commitment to return to your home country after the 12-18 month Blended Fellowship;
- Commitment to living on a basic stipend that only covers food, shared housing, and local transportation;

Further Conditions for the Virtual Leadership Institute:
- The technological ability to participate in video calls (1-2 per month);
- Availability to commit to 3 hours of online activity and assignments per week for 6 months.
