A $37,207 per annum stipend scholarship for a research student within the School of Chemistry to perform research into DNA Nanotechnology and Nanofabrication. The Scholarship will issue a stipend allowance equal to the University of Sydney Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend rate (indexed on 1 January each year), subject to satisfactory academic performance. This Scholarship has been launched to provide financial assistance to a research student where the principle of their research is on using DNA nanotechnology to develop new reconfigurable nanostructures with tunable optical and magnetic properties.

Eligibility conditions for the 2023 DNA Nanotechnology Scholarships
To be eligible for the 2023 DNA Nanotechnology Scholarships, applicants are required to have met the conditions below:
- Be willing to conduct research into DNA nanotechnology and nanofabrication
- Hold at least an Honours degree (First Class or Second Class Upper) or Master’s degree with a substantial research component or equivalent in a relevant discipline
